Cousin love.

Sometimes the littles ask me why, at 13years old, Jacob still watches Blue's Clues and Teletubbies. It's hard to explain Autism to anyone, much less a 5 year old, but I just tell her that his brain works differently than hers, and the things that make sense to her don't necessarily make sense to him. The love between them though, can't be measured. 

We were there over the weekend to play, and to babysit. They spent some time coloring.

Then I walked into the living room to see them goofing around on the couch. "Lexi Lou! Come on!"

So adorable. 

They goofed around and snuggled for a good half hour. Which surprised me because he normally doesn't like people in his bubble for very long. He wanted Savannah to join them (Bah-vee! Come join us!) but there wasn't much room. ;)

My new obsession is a website called Pinterest. It's virtual online bulletin boards that you can 'pin' pictures on. One of them is My Bucket List. I guess I never thought of some of this stuff until I saw it on there. There are some pretty cool things.

Rockies are my 2nd fave team. Even though they stole Cuddy.

Not Me Monday

The weekend before Labor Day, I certainly did NOT use the tv as a babysitter, because we haven't had cable in almost a year and the kids missed their shows......I also did NOT let the kids eat waffles and chips for dinner the other night and justified it by giving them apples too.....I did NOT let Nick sleep in his jeans last night so he would be ready to pull out of bed this morning. Nope. Not me.

The kids and I took the light rail to Target Field one afternoon to walk around and take pics. Nick really wants to go to a game there. I think Emily does just because Nick does.
