Hockey Girlie

Let me first just say how excited I am that Emily wanted to play hockey. She actually started about 2 months into the season, (and missed pictures) but she was all for it!!! Her first practice was today and she did really well. She isn't the best skater, so for a lot of the practice (they had 4 teams on the ice at once all doing the same thing) she had one on one with a coach. I could tell even by the end of the hour that she was doing much better.

She is 3rd from the left, kneeling with no name or number. She will have number 18. She wanted 8 but it was taken.
Bored Bubba.

They did some sort of drill where they kneeled down, stood up, layed down, stood up, etc.... They also played Red Light Green Light.

That looks like fun...I don't like sitting in the cold though...was it cold in there?

It was a little chilly, but we were in Rink 3. The Bloomington Ice Gardens (BIG for short) has 3 rinks. #2 is the coldest, we were there this morning (sunday am) but 3 isn't too bad. And yes michelle, I am still psyched about it!!
